As we live our lives, we can all vouch for having the same goal of becoming successful and not having to go to that dreadful, worthless, time-wasting, positive energy absorbing….sorry, got carried away…job any more. 
We all have the same dream as we lay back those 15 daily minutes of time we use to focus on what we wish we had or were. The dream of becoming independent and successful.
In addition, yes, you’ve probably even tried you efforts at a home business, thinking it was the magic pill you needed to staying at home, and unfortunately got burnt in the process. 
Regardless of IF you’ve been or are in a home business, the reality is that you are responsible for your success. I know, you’re probably saying “That’s B.S.!” No, actually it’s not. I found out the hard way too.
Starting and creating a successful home business does not have to seem like a daydream some high school kid has so as not physically work for someone. (Even though I had plenty of those in my high school years) It doesn’t matter where a person comes from or their specific level of education.
There are plenty of successful business people that haven’t even finished a college education. When it comes to starting and creating a successful home business, there are six traits you MUST have in order to achieve this goal.
Traits You Need For A Successful Home Business
As a person, determined to reach their goal of starting and creating a successful home business, you must:
- Change Who You Are As A Person – By this I mean you must change your mental view of life. If the current way you think has given you the results you’ve been getting for years, how can you expect that same way of thinking to give you different results?
- Surround Yourself With the People You Want To Become – It’s a known fact, your friends determine who you are. Think about it! If you’ve ever reached a point in your life that you began to see SOME positive results and all of a sudden, those results disappeared, think about your surroundings. Was there ANY negativity around you at the time? Did someone close to you drain that positive result right out of you? In order to have the success of someone else, you absolutely, positively, MUST surround yourself with that person and their knowledge in order to begin having those same results for yourself.
- Become Aware Of Your Thoughts And What You Tell Yourself – I find this trait amazing! Why? Have you ever noticed how a small child has no fear and attempts things an adult would have to think about a dozen times before making a decision? The reason is that we always, yes ALWAYS, sike ourselves out of doing something because we’re not sure if it would work. You must become aware of your thoughts at all times and refuse to accept nothing less than the best for yourself. Besides, it’s YOU that you’re letting down and no one else!
- Understand That You’re Being Sold And Don’t Let It Affect How You Run Your Business – Yes, you are being sold. Whether it is a conversation, listening to an audio, watching a television show, or reading an article online, it really doesn’t matter, you are being sold an idea or a belief or a message. You can’t let this fact affect you. Moreover, you can’t make a savvy business decision during an emotional time in your life.
- Take The Emotion Out Of Your Decisions. Don’t Let Emotions Cloud Your Decision Making – This relates back to the previous trait. If you’re letting emotions drive your decisions, you’re creating a recipe for disaster. No person can make a sane choice while being driven on an emotional roller-coaster. If you take all the emotions out of starting and creating a successful home business, you will be able to focus and make quick decisions that will ONLY give you positive results, every time!
- Join A Sponsor With Integrity, Who’s building Their Business The Way You Want To Build Yours – This is THE MOST IMPORTANT trait of all. If you are trying to build an empire one brick at a time, you’ll spend your entire life building and never see any results from those efforts. You have to be involved with someone that is going to help you, support you, and train you on how to build a business just as they are building their business. Integrity, honesty, and a person that is personally driven to seeing and achieving only the best will describe what YOU, as a goal driven entrepreneur, will need on your side of the court. Their ambition will drive you as well, and should drive you to taking the next step without fear of reaching your goal
By making the choice to understanding and embracing these 7 traits, you’ve already begun your venture into becoming independent and free with a huge advantage.
